The Kitschies

Now open for submissions

The Kitschies reward the year's most progressive, intelligent and entertaining works that contain elements of the speculative or fantastic. The prize is now entering its sixth year.

Our 2013 year's finalists were selected from a record 234 submissions, from over fifty publishers and imprints. Congratultions to the winners: Ruth Ozeki's A Tale for the Time Being (Red), Ann Leckie's Ancillary Justice (Golden), Will Staehle's cover for The Age Atomic (Inky) and Malorie Blackman (Black).
